Universal time functions on watches have typically relied on arbitrary cities as focus points. The Krayon Anywhere takes a different approach allowing the wearer to pick a precise point on the planet, following the beating heart of each day.
The hours and minute dedicated hands are surrounded by the annular two-disc zone with a sun circulating in perpetual motion. The large peripheral ring divides the day naturally into two: a mother-of-pearl day sector and a dark green evening sector, evolving through each passing moment. Latitude plays an integral part of a day's length, determined by the North-South position. This award winning timepiece has interpreted this into a mechanical positioning system based on racks and yokes.
